Alphageneric, the name made up of their own personal projects, Daniel Wihler with Alphatronic and Marco Repetto with Bigeneric.

Since 2018, the two electro enthusiasts have been working together passionately on a new project with improvised electronic music, deliberately far away from the musical comfort zone, always looking for the hidden path to the musical supernova.
The electronic sound states of the tracks sometimes seduce into imaginary, unknown, distant worlds, they are always good worlds. Memories of electronica works from the early seventies come up. Alphageneric's sound also reveals new, wonderfully exciting ways of sound layering, visionary arrangements, without the usual well-known outdated track structures. Futuristic, romantic electronica, which could only be created in this form by the two sound artists with their punk past since the late seventies.

The enthusiasm of the two for sound research and surreal new sound worlds with synthetic sound generators is still unbroken and now manifests itself with unexpected joy in the present trilogy Alphageneric Aera 178 Part 1 Part 2 and Part 3. During this time 36 sound works were created, which are now can be heard in chronological order on the respective sound carrier.

Daniel Wihler and Marco Repetto got to know each other in the legendary Spex punk club in Bern in 1979. Daniel and Marco were already experimenting with synthesizers and drum machines in the early 1980s.
